    1. The first valid entry drawn in each Draw will win $2,000. In addition to this, the first valid entry drawn in each Draw will win that entrant (“Drawn Participant”) the opportunity to each play a contingency game (the “Game”) for the chance to win $1,000,000 which can be spent on purchasing a home (“Major Prize”), as detailed below.
    2. The Game will take place at Queensbridge Square, Melbourne VIC 3000 on 23/08/2024 at 4pm AEST. In the event that a Drawn Participant resides more than 50km from Melbourne, VIC, the Promoter will pay for all reasonable costs associated with attending the Game including flights and accommodation to and from Melbourne, VIC. Spending money, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Trip must be taken at the time specified by the Promoter and itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Travel is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the trip. Drawn Participant/Attendee (defined below) may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.
    3. If a Drawn Participant cannot attend the Game, that Drawn Participant may appoint a proxy over 18 years of age to play the Game on his/her behalf provided the Drawn Participant gives the Promoter written notice to that effect at least seven (7) days before the start of the Game. Subject to clause 13 above, the Promoter will provide reasonable costs for the proxy to attend the Game.
    4. There will be four hundred (400) numbered balls inside a house. Before the commencement of the Game, the Promoter will randomly select one (1) number which represents the Major Prize. The other three hundred and ninety-nine (399) numbered balls will not represent the Major Prize. When instructed to do so, each Drawn Participant/representative (“Attendee”) must enter the house and, within 20 seconds, choose only one (1) numbered ball without interfering in any way with another Attendee. If any Attendee is found to have breached this condition or any direct instructions from a representative of the Promoter, he/she will be disqualified. Upon selecting a number, Attendees must exit the house (in the allocated 20 seconds) and give the representative of the Promoter their selected numbered ball. The representative of the Promoter will then announce the randomly selected ‘winning number’ and if any of the Attendees’ chosen ball contains this number then, subject to verification by the judges, that drawn Participant will win the Major Prize. For clarity, if the Attendee is representing a Drawn Participant, the Drawn Participant is who will be the recipient of any prize. If no Attendee selects a numbered ball which is the same as the ‘winning number’, the Major Prize will not be given away and, subject to verification by the judges, each Drawn Participant will win the Consolation Prize of $10,000 (“Consolation Prize”). However, in the event that a Drawn Participant is deemed as being the winner of the Major Prize, no other Drawn Participant will win a Consolation Prize or any other additional prize. The Game will be supervised by an independent scrutineer.
    5. All prizes to be awarded as part of this promotion will be awarded in the form of an electronic funds transfer into each winner’s nominated Great Southern Bank Everyday Edge account. In the event a winner does not hold a Great Southern Bank Everyday Edge account, that winner will be required to:
      • Open an Everyday Edge Account with Great Southern Bank, which requires the winner to become a member of Credit Union Australia Limited.
      • Satisfy the account opening and membership eligibility criteria, available at www.greatsouthernbank.com.au.
      • Comply with Great Southern Bank’s Terms & Conditions, including the Schedule of Fees (including Proof of Identity requirements). The Terms & Conditions and Schedule of Fees are available online at www.greatsouthernbank.com.au or from a Great Southern Bank branch. Conditions, fees and charges apply. This is general information and does not take into account the winner’s objectives, financial situation or needs. The winner should consider the appropriateness of the information, including the Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) booklet, before acting on it.
    6. A Drawn Participant's odds of winning the Major Prize is 1 in 400. The odds of being drawn as a Drawn Participant may be significantly higher than the odds of a Drawn Participant winning the Major Prize and will depend upon the number of entries received.
    7. The Major Prize is subject to the following:
      1. The Major Prize will be paid to the Major Prize winner in two (2) instalments, in accordance with clause 17. Instalment 1, the ‘home deposit’ will be $200,000 paid within one (1) week of the Game concluding. Instalment 2, the ‘home’ payment will be the remaining $800,000, to be paid within two (2) business days of either a signed build contract, or notice of settlement for a home purchase. Any additional documentation must be provided to the Promoter upon request.
      2. The Major Prize winner must purchase their home or sign a build contract within 12 months from the Major Prize being won, subject to any written directions of the Promoter.
      3. For the sake of clarity, the Major Prize is a total of $1,000,000 and is inclusive of all relevant fees in order to purchase a home including applicable taxes, duties, transfer fees, adjustment costs, labour costs, fit out costs, registration costs and/or any other costs associated with settlement. In the event the Major Prize winner purchases a home which goes above $1,000,000, the Promoter will not be liable for these additional costs. For the sake of clarity, the Major Prize winner purchases a home for less than a total of $1,000,000, the remainder of the money will be kept by the winner.
      4. The Major Prize must be taken ‘as is’ and in accordance with the instalments detailed above.
    8. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    9. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take their prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then their prize will be forfeited.
    10. If a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value and specification for that prize, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
    11. Total prize pool value is up to $1,008,000. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable, unless otherwise specified.
    12. A draw for any unclaimed prizes in the draw may take place on 02/09/2024 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. In the event the draw prize is unclaimed and must be awarded in the unclaimed prize draw, the Game will still take place as scheduled, and the drawn unclaimed prize draw winner will be the relevant Drawn Participant and will win that prize determined as a result of the Game. The Drawn Participant of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by phone and email within two (2) business days of the unclaimed prize draw. The Participant’s name will be published online at promotions.greatsouthernbank.com.au/win-terms from 09/09/2024.
    13. 14. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
    15. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
    16.
